The Buzz Curriculum focuses on the family as the primary way children learn about God, with the church playing an important supporting role.
Buzz makes Sunday school fun for kids because they experience Bible truths in ways they enjoy and understand. Buzz is more than a written lesson-it’s an interactive experience! Kids will learn in whatever way fits their style-whether that’s reading, acting, drawing, listening, singing, playing a game, and more. And kids can’t wait to get started because they make choices throughout the lesson.
Children receive a special object and Bible activity cards making it easy for parents to spend some time each week reinforcing their children’s weekly class lessons.
January Highlights
TGIW Kids Club resumes on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012.
We hope to have your children join us while adults enjoy their “40 Days in the Word” small groups.
Children’s bowling outing at Lucky Jacks – Sunday January 29th at 2:00 PM.
Lane rental will be paid for by Children’s Ministry! Parents are asked to pay for shoe rental and any needed snacks.

New Buzz take home materials will be handed out beginning Jan. 7th/8th. Please ask your child’s teacher for these materials if you do not receive them.
A summer camp committee is forming for our 2012 summer camp at Twin Lakes Park. This year’s theme will be “The Bug Zone -Transformed by Our Big God”. You are welcome to be a part of the camp team!
Our Saturday night children’s classes will begin slight change in the age groupings. Children ages Kindergarten -2nd grade will meet in classroom D and children ages 3rd-5th grade will meet in classroom A. Preschool will remain the same.
Our new children’s programming began Sunday January 8th. New class times and our Worship Arts Time will be kicking off for our Sunday attenders. Your children will be able to participate in both Our K4K Bible time and Worship Arts from 9:30-11:00 or from 10:30-11:45. We invite those who attend the 10:30 service to bring your children at 10:15 to enjoy fellowship time with the other children. Our Sunday morning schedule will be the following:

Please remember to be the spiritual leader that you are called to be by spending a few minutes each week in the word with your child using their Buzz activities!

How can you help in Children’s Ministry?
Help set up/serve and cleanup Children’s Fellowship Time on Sundays from 10:00-10:30 AM
Lead or help with provided music, games and object lessons for the Preschool-1st grade children during Worship Arts Time on Sundays from 10:30-11:00AM
Serve on our forming camp committee or volunteer as a leader in recreation, storytelling, crafts, or snack preparation for our June camp
Volunteer to help with TGIW Kids Club from 6PM-7:30 on Wednesday evenings
Volunteer as a Kids Hope USA mentor for a waiting child at Eastern Elementary School
Volunteer two hours a week in the Children’s Ministry Office to help with a variety of tasks
