The Community Children’s Center is a Christian ministry of First Congregational Church. Our staff reaches out to infants, toddlers, and young children and their families in the Grand Traverse area to help them develop their God-given physical, social, and spiritual potential.

Closed Holidays, the week between Christmas & New Year’s, and selected vacation days.
We provide experiences in an environment that foster the wholesome development of each individual child. A balance of indoor and outdoor developmentally appropriate activities is provided for each age group. Close rapport between parents and staff allows the children to develop to their potential, to satisfy their basic needs, and to gain sound emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth.
Staff Qualifications
Our director meets all qualifications as required for State of MI licensure and is a certified, experienced teacher.
A core staff of credentialed lead teachers are assigned to each age group and plan the entire program with the director. They implement the program along with the help of experienced child care staff who assist them.
Classrooms & Approximate Ages:
- Infant Room (ages 6 weeks to 12 months)
- Toddler Room (ages 12 to 24 months)
- Early Preschool Room (ages 2 to 3 years)
- Preschool 1 Room (ages 3 to 4 years)
- Preschool 2 Room (ages 4-6 years)
Fees:
- $50 registration fee due on enrollment
- A minimum 15-hour per week payment is required to enroll a child.
- A multiple-child discount of 5% off tuition is available for families enrolling more than one child.
- Tuition Rates are shown in a 15 Hour/20 Hour/40 Hour/55 Hour format. In between amounts will be figured in 5-hour blocks. Extra hours figured hourly.
o Infant/Toddler/Early Preschool Rooms: $90/week, $100/week, $155/week, $200/week
o Preschool 1 Room: $75/week, $85/week, $140/week, $175/week
o Preschool 2 Room: $70/week, $85/week, $135/week, $170/week
