Summer Camp

First Congregational Church Summer Camp
is all about serving Jesus!

Camp is held at Grand Traverse County’s Twins Lake Camp on Long Lake Road during the last full week of June each year.

We teach kids who Jesus is and how to develop a personal relationship with Him. Many volunteers give their time to make this week a truly life-changing experience for the campers. Teen counselors receive training to assist in the camper’s experience. This offers all campers role models that are living a Christ-centered life and that can offer a loving hand throughout the week.

This year’s theme is ”The Bug Zone-Transformed By Our Big God”.

Children discover God’s power to transform lives through the stories of Gideon, Ruth and Naomi, Zacchaeus and Saul. They will also be learning about the many creepy crawly bugs in God’s beautiful creation.

$60 per camper, $45 for second and each additional sibling, $35 per preschool camper (scholarships available)

All parents and/or grandparents are expected to sign up to help out with some aspect of camp…set up, teaching, crafts, games, snack, etc. Please see the registration form to select when you can help out.

A Wednesday evening potluck meal is planned each year to give parents, grandparents and church members chance to see what the kids are doing out a camp and enjoy a good meal and some fellowship.
