Children

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
 - Hebrews 6:19

Welcome!

Anchor Kids is currently meeting in our Kids Zone each Sunday at 10am.  Come & join the fun!

We believe it is our job as a children's ministry to support the spiritual training that goes on at home. We partner with our families to collectively teach kids why they need a Savior and who Jesus truly is. We provide a safe, age-appropriate, fun environment for children pre-school through fifth grade to learn about God and His son Jesus in a creative and engaging way. We also provide nursery care for our youngest Anchor Kids. We look forward to getting to know you and extend a warm welcome to your family. We're so glad God has led you to us.

Who We Are

Every Sunday, pre-school through fifth-grade kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We would love for you and your family to visit Anchor Kids this Sunday at 10 A.M. Join the fun, and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

What We Value

Creative Bible Teaching:

We value the Bible as God’s holy Word and for the insight it gives us into the character of God and our place in relation to Him. We bring Bible stories to life through activities and conversations that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s Word and understand its relevance to their lives.

Relationships:

We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. Children are grouped by school grade so that peer friendships can grow. Volunteer leaders serve regularly, so they get to know the children and can develop caring relationships with them.

Age-Appropriateness:

Our environments, the language we use in our lessons, and our small group materials are created with your child’s age and developmental stage in mind.

Safety:

We take lots of steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every volunteer is vetted with a nationwide background check, and we have written policies in place to protect our kids and our volunteers. Our whole team — from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe. Parents receive a pickup tag with a unique alphanumeric code that corresponds to only their child(ren), and kids will only be released to the person with that matching code.

Fun:

Our goal is for Anchor Kids to be an experience that kids want to return to every week. We use varied games, activities, object lessons, crafts, and videos to illustrate the message each week, changing things up to keep it fresh and exciting – without compromising on clearly communicating the Bible lesson for the day.
