FCC Statement Regarding Coronavirus:
Greetings,
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1
PRAY- In light of recent developments concerning COVID-19, we are very aware that now is a very important time for people to experience God's comfort. At this time, let us continue to pray for those who have lost loved ones, patients, healthcare professionals on the front lines, and our communities in the midst of COVID-19.
BE WISE - We are also mindful that now is an important time for our church to care for its members by playing a vital role in slowing the transmission rate of this disease. "Our witness and our example may save lives, especially the lives of those at risk in our own congregations" - Dr. Wes Wallace*
CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER - We remain committed to providing care for one another. Please contact our church office at 231-947-6698 or email Pastor Chad at chad.oyer@fcctc.org if you or those you love have need of caring ministries support; the office voicemail is monitored and messages will be routed for an appropriate response.
STAY INFORMED - We will continue to monitor the most current information made available by the CDC and the State of Michigan, and will keep the congregation informed via our church's communications when we can safely reinstitute Sunday worship services or may need to take additional steps with weekly groups, events, and worship services.
A BLESSING FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS - “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace” Numbers 6:24-26
Blessings,
Pastor Chad
Jaema Stilley, Church Council President
Don Sibery, Trustees Chairperson
